Physical DescriptionFragment of Bowl. [description for entire 64.1.220 lot] Canes of opaque yellow, opaque red, opaque white, opaque medium blue, translucent amethyst, translucent yellow-green, translucent green and translucent blue-green in assorted matrices of translucent amethyst, translucent light blue, deep amethyst, some dull and pitted surface, some unweathered; mosaic glass or millefiori technique. Fourteen fragments of bowls at least three are patella cups or caranated forms all of which have some type of rosette pattern in an amethyst matrix; among them there is no extraordinary or rare cane configuration; one preserves solid round canes of alternating red and blue in a deep amethyst matrix; one preserves spiral canes; two are veined or marbleized vessels.Provenance
