Physical DescriptionTiger Lily Vase. Colorless lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Trumpet-shaped waisted vase, possibly executed in Hawkes trademarked "Gravic" or "Satin" line. The pattern consists of a cluster of three broad engraved lily pads at the base, with a cut and polished stem curving up the vase branching out into two engraved tiger lilies underneath the rim. Three clusters of cut and polished spiky leaves, in groups of eight, are evenly spaced up the stem. The pattern repeats three times around the vase, although each Tiger lily is unique with variations in number and orientation of petals.
