Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, woven beaded covering. (A) Tall, bell-shaped bowl; short, straight stem; circular foot; two-thirds of bowl, stem and foot are covered with closely-woven beadwork, with a band of colored flowers at the top and around the foot; the rest, a colorless ground with scattered "florettes" of blue and gold beads; strips of silver-colored metal foil inserted between the bowl and the woven backing for the beadwork. (B) Tall, bell-shaped bowl; short, straight stem; circular foot with ground pontil mark; two-thirds of the bowl, stem and the foot are covered with closely-woven beadwork, with a band of colored flowers at the top and at the foot rim; the rest an opalescent white ground with pairs of faceted gold beads and blue beads spaced across the surface; strips of silver-colored metal foil inserted between the bowl and the fabric backing for the beads.Provenance
