Physical DescriptionVase with Branch of Dogwood Flowers. Reddish-purple and translucent white glasses; cased, blown, acid-etched, cut. Small vase with roughly globular body, long narrow waisted neck, wider slightly flared rim, and short circular foot. Vase is primarily matte translucent white with sizable patches of reddish-purple glass around body, foot, and rim; raised decoration is reddish-purple. Acid-etched and cut flowers and leaves wrap around most of the body, with a single flower shoot creeping up the neck. The 4-petaled flower and spade-shaped leaf most likely depict the blossom of the dogwood tree.
