Physical Description(a) Bronze; cast. Rectangular medal with curved top edge. Front of medal decorated with two pairs of figures: one child and one adult. Front inscribed, "COMITE / DE PATRONAGE / DES ECOLES / PROFESSIONNELLES / LAVILLE DE PARIS / RECONNAISSANTE" and "PROTECTION ENSEIGNEMENT" in banner. Reverse decorated with six circular medallions, each showing various objects. Rectangular plaque in center inscribed, "RENE / LALIQUE". Banner inscribed, "ESTIEN PALISSY / ECOLES PROFESSIONNELLE / GERMAIN PILON / BOULE DIDEROT / DUPERRE DORIAN". (b) Red box bottom. (c) Red box top.
