Interpretive Notes
Interesting Facts about Pattern: - Sandalwood was one of the earliest patterns released. Pattern Description: Sandalwood was one of the earliest patterns released, but it did not resonate well with the consumer market so was discontinued after only a yearlong run. Initially it was produced only on a Cinderella Bowl set (440-5) and a Bake, Serve and Store set (470-5). A refrigerator set and a butter dish were released later. Sandalwood was produced as either a tan pattern on a white background or a white pattern on a tan background.
Physical Description2-1/2 Quart Pyrex Mixing Bowl in "Sandalwood" Pattern. Opaque white opalware glass, screen-printed cream color enamel; mold-pressed. Large circular white bowl with handles. Decorated at mid-body with a band of cream-colored leaves.
