Physical DescriptionColorless and translucent red orange, red brown and brown glass, wood, copper tube, brass, metal wire, metal mounts, plexiglass, lead, gold-leaf (?); mold-blown, assembled. a) stand with figure. b) cover. Marionette-type figure with oversized hands, 2 large pointed ears suspended in kneeling position from 7-shaped support, on wooden base. Base has brass label on edge "specimen IV Sloth", large bell-jar shape glass goes over (a) and rests on carved out area on edge. Hollow two-part finial on top with butterfly in bottom hollow, three applied scroll handles (?)/decorations on finial.
