Physical DescriptionPale green rather heavy, very bubbly, glass; free-blown and acid etched; short cylindrical bottom with high pushed up base having rough pontil mark and wide walls flaring to overfolded rim. Decoration consists of a very elaborate overall pattern of arabesques as well as inscription friezes on upper wall of bowl; the bands horizontally arranged; the acid etched surface has a slightly rough and dark surface, possibly from gilding or painting the decoration.
