Interpretive NotesIn 1901, Peter Behrens made his architectural debut. He designed his own home, which was part of a newly established artists’ colony in Darmstadt, Germany. He designed both the home’s architecture and all of its furniture and accessories. This set of drinking glasses was specifically designed for the dining room.
