In an email dated April 12, 2022, dealer Philip C. Salmon wrote: “I checked back with my colleague, who has been trying to find his records on the sample books, which he is now pretty sure he purchased from an eastern European dealer (who is an ILAB member) at the New York book fair in 2020, the last fair before the pandemic. Given the export documentation required to move material out of Europe, I can confirm that these were okay for export. We purchased the set from our colleague (an ABAA member) at a virtual book fair held in conjunction with the California International Antiquarian book fair this past February.”
