Interpretive NotesThis sugar bowl of the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company of Sandwich, MA, was acquired by the Museum in 2007 and has a cut decoration pattern called "Star and Comet.” This shape and pattern was probably in production during the 1860's and 1870's: it is shown in a Boston & Sandwich catalog printed around 1874.
