Physical DescriptionPossibly Fragment of Cup or Bottle with Animal and Vegetal Scroll. Transparent light blue over almost colorless; latter has few small bubbles. Blown, cased; relief-cut. Fragment of cylindrical cup or bottle, including approximately 12 percent of rim. Rim, which may not be original (see below), plain and ground flat; wall descends vertically or almost vertically. Decorated in relief in blue (Th. 0.1 cm) on colorless background (Th. 0.1–0.15 cm): just below rim, one horizontal rib forming upper border of frieze. At top of frieze, narrow vegetal scroll; below this, parts of indeterminate element, possibly animal shown in profile, facing right, with small head, single raised dot representing eye, and horns; curving line at bottom of fragment may be part of body.
