Physical DescriptionTrinitite Mounted in Lucite with Metal Stand. (a) Piece of trinitite formed by a nuclear explosion. Sample is encased in colorless Lucite disk with convex top. Trinitite appears primarily green with small areas of white on top and primarily dark with rust-colored areas on bottom. (b) Metal stand with stepped base and four wide bladed knops along stem.Provenance
