Physical DescriptionSculpture, "LS83G" from "Leitungs Scherben" Series. Opaque black, opaque reddish-orange, and transparent blue laminated glass, Vitrolite architectural glass; cut, bonded, optically polished. Assembled grid pattern of transparent blue glass held up by opaque black supports with jagged edges. Opaque reddish-orange T-shape set above grid; a similar band of opaque reddish-orange glass set between two bands of transparent blue glass runs vertically up one black support. Shadow projection of the blue grid is cast beneath the sculpture. The glass is cut using thermal shock techniques to create uneven edges.Provenance
