Physical DescriptionClear heavy glass with few bubbles; blown and engraved. Plain conical foot with very rough pontil mark; large cushioned ball knop stem supporting the funnel bowl; the ball knop stem contains five coins: England: James II, 1685; France: Louis XV, 1728; Spain: Philip V, 1773, Philip VIII, 1738, Charles III, 1773. The engraved decoration on the bowl consists of the letters "R E H" done in a flowery style, and framed by two leaf and flower branches, on the reverse a bird in flight (dove ?) holding a branch in its beak, below rim a simple festoon band.
