Physical DescriptionPale aqua glass; mold-blown; plain lip, pontil mark. Obverse: designs on oval panels; large American Eagle, head turned to right; wings partly raised and right slightly foreshortened. Large shield with seven vertical and four horizontal bars on breast. Thunderbolt (six arrows) in eagle's right talons, large olive branch in left. Fine sun rays surround eagle's head. Eagle stands on plain double line oval frame. Reverse: large United States Flag with nineteen stars furled on standard. Inscription: reverse - "COFFIN & HAY" in semi-circle above flag, and "HAMMONTON" in semi-circle below. Edges: vertically ribbed, heavy medial rib.
