Physical Description(A) Transparent smoky-purplish glass; blown. Two cups joined by a common short stem; one cup a tall, almost cylindrical form, the other a wide straight-walled form. (B) Transparent smoky-purplish glass; blown. Two cups of differing shapes; one taller and narrower, one shorter and wider, joined by a common stem. (C) Transparent smoky-purplish glass; mold-blown. Straight wall curving in at flat base. (D) Transparent smoky-purplish glass; mold-blown. Tall form tapering from rim to base; slightly hollow base. (E) Transparent smoky-purplish glass; blown. Wide, flaring cup; downward sloping and flaring foot; in the hollow of the spreading foot a section of hollow tubing is attached, to form a candleholder when glass is inverted. (F) Transparent smoky purplish glass; blown. Bulbous body, tapering to neck area and flaring to rim; spouted lip; attached handle with narrowly hollow center; base, ground roughly circular; slightly smooth pontil mark. (G) Transparent smoky-purplish glass; blown. (Ga) Tall cylindrical shape tapering to small neck only slightly widening at rim; up-reaching spout; attached tubular handle; kick in base forms a circular hollow, base rim ground flat; (Gb) stopper: an ovoid finial tapering to a point of diminished hue. (H) Transparent smoky-purplish glass; blown. (Ha) Tall cylindrical neck, flaring widely to receive stopper; body tapering from waist to both neck and base; kicked-up base, ground to a circular ring. (Hb) stopper: large hollow sphere on a rounded stem.Provenance
