Physical DescriptionOpaque white glass; blown, mold-blown, enameled, gilded. Nearly spherical body with white base and interior; outside completely covered with an enamel which is yellow at the bottom and shades to a delicate pink at the top; enamel and gilt spray of oak leaves and acorns on each side; round paper label with a serrated edge on the base with double headed eagle with an "S" on his breast and "ALBERTINE" above and "MT. W.G. CO" below; silver-plated rim with ball handle; (b) separate lid, marked "B" on the knob and "P" (for Pairpoint) in a diamond on the inside.Provenance
