Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; mold-blown, tooled, ground and polished. (a) Tall, thinly blown flared cylindrical body with flattened base; short slender applied stem connects body to tooled plain conical circular foot; no pontil; ground and lipless rim. (b) Cover has tooled, down-turned circular finial joined by a pulled elongated slender stem to the flattened dome with rim that turns up to form the inside cover lip and then broadly flares outward, perpendicular to and beyond the diameter of the body; cover rim edge is ground and polished.
