Physical DescriptionMasonic Beaker. Colorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved, enameled, gilt. Tapered, cylindrical form, with cut vertical panels, and deeply engraved landscape with Masonic (?) emblems: a temple, heart with pick, world globe standing on an opened book, a sun, a skull and crossed bones on a casket, a crescent moon with face, an ink bottle with two quill pens standing on an opened book, and overlapping triangle, square and hammer, all with trees and shrubs behind, in a continuous band; the concave base enameled with blue forget-me-nots and green leaves, to be viewed from inside the glass, with gilt background; polished flat foot rim.
