Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; mold-blown, cut; molded, encased sulphide. Cylindrical, straight-sided shape; cut rim plain; sides with molded tall pointed ovals arranged in a horizontal band, each with a conical projection at the bottom; below, a horizontal, ribbed band; cut convex octagonal panel on the front, enclosing a molded white sulphide portrait of a man, wearing a heavy, soft coat, facing sinister; petal-molded foot; bottom with molded swirled ribbing; polished pontil mark at the center.Provenance
