Physical DescriptionColorless glass with red lip wrap and enameling of black, yellow, orange, gray and green; flameworked, enameled, inscribed. Lipped bell shape with stem and foot; narrow lip of transparent colorless with random gray edge strokes tops deep bowl attached to a wide hollow continuous stem and pedestal foot; interior of bowl evenly brushed with yellow with interior base misted with black, within foliage of both palm tree tops an eye with lashes has been scraped through the enamel; exterior with brushed design of five stylized orange male and a single female dancing figures in various poses with two palm trees, a bird and a crawling snake; outlines and details of all design elements have been finely scratched through the enamel and then various parts of figures have been outlined in black, green, and yellow; background bears patches of orange with green, orange and yellow dots; exterior and interior of stem and foot brushed with medium gray background and exterior covered with overall pattern of black, orange, yellow and green overlapping strokes; inscribed and dated at bottom of bowl, "RMK 85".
