Physical DescriptionBottle and Stopper, "The Emperor's Jewels". Colorless, transparent cobalt non-lead glass rods/tubes, cork; flameworked, tooled. (a) Elongated teardrop-shaped bottle widening from top toward bottom with overall raised colorless and blue dot decoration; narrow, slightly flared, lipless neck opening, just below rim a group of small colorless dots forms a wide band with deeply serrated lower edge, the elongated neck and shoulder is covered with light blue small dots with interspersed encircling bands of dark blue (beginning with section that "fills in" space between serrations), dots increase in size towards rounded shoulder of short cylindrical body--at top of body are three encircling rows of colorless, almost pointed prunts, below them (at middle of body) body is covered with smaller light blue dots, then around base slightly curved in base are three more rows of the tall colorless applications--the lowest row of dots are flattened to form a circle of feet; flattened circular base of body has a conical kick, no pontil; (b) solid stopper is in double colorless teardrop-shape (wide ends joined)--upper drop is topped with a small ball, lower drop point is fitted with a tapered cork that separates the drop from the long, thin, bumpy dauber decorated with marvered blue narrow spiraling; marvered on base in transparent blue: "J".
