Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, translucent green and shades of brown glass; mold-blown, pâte de verre casting, laminated. Shallow hemispherical bowl, cactus support; thinly blown shallow bowl with ground and polished rim and no pontil is supported by solid pâte de verre casting of a "prickly pear" cactus; cactus, consist of joined "pad" sections with overall pattern of slightly raised dots, branches support bowl and three "pad" sections are laminated to interior of bowl giving impression of projecting through bowl. Solid base is ground and polished flat, covered with gray felt; inscribed near base: "Daum France Hilton McConnico"; inscribed on base: "58/950"; paper label: "Daum / France".
