Physical DescriptionLarge Plate with Arabesques. Colorless, blue, and green non-lead glasses: two layers of colorless flat glass with enameled (probably silk-screened) decoration on bottom layer, kiln-fused and slumped into a mold. Large circular shape, with flared rim, decorated with a symmetrical radiating abstract floral pattern (two concentric circles) in shades of blue and green; surface broken by pattern of irregular raised areas; inscribed in script on underside near edge: "higgins".
