Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, engraved. Tapered bowl; decorated with gilded engraving; on one side a coat of arms with the inscription "Es lebe Ein hoch Edler, wohl weisser Raht." in an arc above, with scrollwork and foliage above, below, and at the sides; on the reverse, an eagle (Prussian) with the inscription "ViVat der Konig von/Preussen Soll Leben.", "die Gnadigste Kohi"/gin auch man fleisig wurden/1765 schenckt er wein, laster nach zu wur/den.", with crossed weavers' shuttles below; terraced "firing" foot; rough pontil mark.
