Physical DescriptionFragment of Bowl. Transparent very pale green, with many small bubbles; decorated in yellowish brown. Blown; stained. Fragment of bowl. Lower wall curves down and in at shallow angle; base plain and very narrow (D. about 2.5 cm), with slight dome on inside and chill marks on exterior; pontil mark circular (D. 1 cm). Decorated on inside with concentric roundel contained within two borderlines (D. [exterior line] about 8.5 cm, [interior line] about 7.5 cm). Roundel is divided by three pairs of parallel lines into four compartments: two are rectangular, and two are shaped like lunettes. Each compartment contains hastily executed angular scroll with tendrils. Outside roundel, trace of indeterminate ornament remains at one point.Provenance
