Physical DescriptionTransparent brownish yellow glass; blown, partly in mold, applied, ground, polished, stained. Pitcher with short, funnel-shaped rim, which has flat, ground and polished top; narrow, cylindrical neck; broad shoulder, which slopes slightly downward and has rounded edge; wall that bends down and in, steeply at first and then in segmental curve; and flat, disk-shaped base; no pontil mark. Handle was dropped onto shoulder near edge, leaving large, irregular attachment, then drawn vertically upward in three ribs, bent through 90 degrees, and attached to upper neck. Interior of body has patches of speckled brown stain.
