Physical DescriptionWall Revetment Tile (mosaic glass fragment). [description for entire 64.1.217 lot] Floral canes of opaque yellow, opaque red, opaque white, translucent blue-green, translucent amethyst, translucent yellow-green glass, dull with some pitting and weathering; mosaic glass or millefiori technique. Seven fragments retain blue-green rosettes or floral canes cased with white which float in a predominantly amethyst or yellow-green matrix among rods of opaque yellow; four fragments preserve yellow-green rosettes with red centers cased in yellow which float among rods of opaque yellow in an amethyst matrix; the remaining three fragments are primarily amethyst matrix veined with either white or yellow.Provenance
