Physical DescriptionSprinkler. Colorless or nearly colorless; numerous bubbles (L. up to 1.8 cm). Blown (body blown in dip mold); applied. Horizontal cross section of body is roughly oval, with long sides that are most straight, and rounded short sides. Rim plain, with flat top and narrow opening (D. 0.2 cm); neck cylindrical, somewhat distorted and widening as it descends, but with shallow constriction at bottom; shoulder slopes and has rounded edge; long sides of body are almost straight and tapering; short sides curve out, down, and in; base plain, with concave underside; pontil mark. Shoulder and wall are decorated with vertical ribs, which are clearly visible on shoulder but faint on wall. On neck, two opposed handles, which were dropped onto of shoulder, drawn up and in, attached to neck, then drawn out and up and in, and reattached to lower neck.Provenance
