Physical DescriptionClear heavy glass with grey tinge and few bubbles and impurities; blown and engraved. Conical folded foot with rough pontil mark, heavy plain solid drawn stem with tear, trumpet bowl; on the bowl the portrait of William III in an oval panel looking to the left with the initials "W R", above a band with two scrolls, and the inscription: "THE GLORIOUS & IMMORTALL MEMORY OF KING WILL. III", below an inscription: "HE WAS BUT WORDS ARE WANTING. TO SAY WHAT SAY ALL THATS GREAT & GOOD AND HE WAS THAT", on the reverse the arms of Roe of Ballyconnel House County Cavan, Ireland, around a frieze of foliage festoons and triangles.
