Interpretive Notes
The USF Constitution was an important American ship used during the Revolutionary War. Around 1830, a movement to preserved the historic ship inspired commemorative items such as this tray.
Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; pressed. Rectangular shape with upturned rim having sixteen evenly spaced hearts on stippled background with edging of alternating scallops and points; base with sailing ship, nine stars in the upper left corner; twelve stars in the upper right; surrounding "U.S.F. CONSTITUTION".
