Physical DescriptionFragment of Dish with Rosettes. Transparent light purple, with darker streaks. Blown; pincered. Dish. Rim consists of flange that is inclined upward to lip, which is rounded; wall tapers and curves in at bottom; base plain and slightly concave; pontil mark annular (D. 0.8 cm). Exterior of flange and wall is decorated in relief with one complete, one virtually complete, and one fragmentary oval rosette, all apparently identical, each containing central boss surrounded by six smaller bosses, all within raised border; surfaces behind them are plain and slightly recessed.Provenance
