Physical DescriptionOenochoe (Pitcher) Decorated with Spikes. Translucent greenish-blue glass, pitted with patches of iridescent film and strain cracking over entire body; core-formed and tooled. Rim and neck missing, base of narrow cylindrical neck spreads out into ovoid body decorated with six horizontal rows of spikes or prunts with rounded tips; upper rows appear to have been worked out of the matrix while lower rows seem to have been applied trails which were then pulled up and out by tooling; lower section has heavy applied trail worked out into a disc forming the bottom of the vessel, a short stem and pad base is worked out below this disc.
