Physical DescriptionColorless, presumably lead glass; blown and engraved, and, part of stem, pattern-molded. Deep lipped circular bowl, attached by heavy merese to two part stem -- molded-ribbed hollow ovoid tapering to and set in 3-ring collar -- applied shallow-domed foot with wide rim flaring to topfold tooled at edge to form ring-like finish; traces of rough pontil mark; engraved decoration: on one side, square rigger under nearly full sail; on reverse, inscription "Henry West of The Hawk" in arc below a portrait bust of Captain Hawk.
