Physical DescriptionHead of Animal or Bird. Almost colorless glass, but with greenish yellow tinge; blown, applied. Head of animal or bird: hollow and roughly globular, with beak or snout, also hollow, drawn out and down; two protruding eyes formed by applying small bits of glass and coiling them; crest applied to top of head, pinched into long, narrow feature that extends forward over snout and back onto neck, and, while still semi-molten, cut with shears to create serrated top. Very small part of body survives; this, too, is hollow, with aperture connecting it with inside of head.
