Physical DescriptionPaperweight with Red Clematis. Colorless lead glass; enclosing red, green and white millefiori canes and lampworked elements; cut. Domed, circular shape; top and sides with concave, circular facets; enclosing a ribbed, ten-petaled red flower and bud ("clematis"), with central cane consisting of a white and red star at center, surrounded by rings of colorless stars encased in pale yellow; six ribbed green leaves, green stem; encircled by a ring of alternating canes: green-red-and-white star canes, and red-green-and-white centered cane, surrounded by two concentric white "pastry molds"; concave, star-cut base.
