Physical DescriptionCologne Bottle with Stopper in "Pompeian" pattern. Translucent opal glass cased with transparent amber to ruby glass; blown. pattern-molded. (a) Circular upper rim; short cylindrical neck; spherical body has cased air-trap swirls; partially ground pontil; wheel engraved on base: "F. Carder". (b) Spherical knob with cylindrical shaft; ground to fit bottle; unmarked.
