Physical DescriptionTumbler or Beaker. Milk-white glass (milchglas); free-blown. Double-walled, slender cylindrical form with set-in lacquer and gold-leaf border at top and medallion on side; flat base with small polished pontil mark; border: alternating trio of ovals and round-end rectangles in gold on red lacquer between narrow gold bands; medallion: Saint Anne holding the Virgin, and at bottom, inscription "Sanct" "Anna" and monogram "A.H." in gold leaf on red lacquer background, gold border of rope-ring and flat band.
