Physical DescriptionTazza. Colorless soda-lime glass; blown, mold-blown, enameled, gilded, applied. Wide, shallow circular bowl with wide, slightly rolled over and down turned rim with infolded edge; applied broad, short, straight sided pedestal foot with narrow infolded rim and pontil mark on base. Second gather applied to inner two-thirds of bowl and decorated with 12 mold-blown and gilded ribs swirling to left from large center with jeweled double quatrefoil having pointed lobes and inner semicircles formed by pearl-like white dots; within spaces so formed, red, green, and blue dots; on underside of flaring rim, jeweled and gilded scale band with alternating series of henna, blue and white, and turquoise dots at center of each of four scales on diagonal.
