Physical DescriptionTumbler or Beaker. Colorless glass; free-blown, stained and decorated in transparent enamels. Cylindrical form with smooth base and flaring slightly at rim; narrow yellow band (silver stain) on inside and outside of rim; at top below rim, circlet of leaves and acorns in greens and brown; on obverse, within wreath of green laurel leaves with brownish berries, circular medallion depicting map of the battle of Leipzig in black and red lines on lightly "frosted" ground; inscription in arched narrow band at top "EINRACHT WIRKT MACHT"; inscription in three lines below map: "PLAN der SCHLACHTEN bei LEIPZIG," "a.m.18 u: 19 Oct: 1813." "Erklarung"; "Russ.Armee" below green lines, "Oestr. Ar." below red line, "Pruss. Ar." below blue line, "Schmed. Ar." below yellow line, "Fran.Ar.d18" below brownish line, and "Fr. Ar." d 19 Oct" below black line; signed "S.Mohn fec" along outside of medallion at lower right.
