Physical DescriptionTransparent pale yellowish green glass (but bowl and foot made separately); bowl: blown and tooled, with applied and inflated claws and applied trails; foot: blown and tooled. Made from parts of two or more objects; (A) upper part: plain rim finished at furnace; mouth curves downward and inward to short, narrow neck; spheroid body with diameter less than diameter of rim; narrow concave base. Decorated single horizontal trail on outside of rim and with claws and trails extending from mid-point of mouth to lower part of body: (from right to left) claw, hollow at top, drawn down, pinched at bottom and attached to lower part of body; claw-like projection, broader at bottom, made by manipulating wall during inflation, overlain by nipped vertical trail; similar but smaller claw-like projection overlain by nipped vertical trail; claw pinched at bottom and attached to lower part of body; claw-like projection, hollow from top to bottom, overlain by nipped vertical trail; nipped vertical trail; at bottom of wall, applied after vertical trail, merese with nipped edge; below this, single horizontal trail. (B) Foot: low conical foot, somewhat irregular, with folded edge and tall, narrow kick.
