Physical DescriptionYellowish green glass; mold-blown; slightly flaring base, plain lip, pontil mark. Obverse: Masonic pavement columns and archway with Keystone in centre. Eighteen bricks in pavement rounded in form; within archway "Farmer's Arms" sheaf of rye, pitchfork, shovel, sickle, rake, axe and scythe. Sheaf of rye, points to right instead of left; beneath pavement scroll ornament. Reverse: Crude American Eagle, head turned to left; large shield with eight vertical and two horizontal bars on breast; wings partly raised, legs raised. Thunderbolt (two arrows) in left talons, olive branch in right. Eagle's tail rests on small oval frame with inner band of minute pearl beading and containing four petaled ornament. Thirteen five-pointed stars above eagle; designs on oval panels. Edges: large pearl beading with heavy vertical medial rib.Provenance
