Physical DescriptionColorless and amethyst lead glass; blown and cut. Wide shallow cup bowl of colorless glass cased on outside with amethyst, band of single diamonds inside oval frame, cut around bowl near lip. Alternating pattern of wide and narrow vertical lozenges cut around lower half of bowl; all cutting on the bowl is done through the amethyst casing and shows colorless, except for the highest faces of the diamonds; colorless cylindrical stem flaring at top and bottom, with bladed knop at mid-point; colorless plain conical foot cut with 8-petal starburst on underside, with "Steuben" script acid stamp.
