Physical DescriptionOpaque brick reddish-brown glass matrix with composite flower canes of simple translucent green glass matrix cased with opaque yellow and having an opaque yellow central dot, seven of these are arranged around a central cane to form a flower design; mosaic glass or millefiori technique, lathe- polished. Fragment preserves wall, foot and floor of large and deep bowl; wall bends down and in to roughly globular form with thick ring base almost square in cross section rounded on the bottom; vessel floor within base ring is flat as far as preserved.Provenance
