Physical DescriptionBlack (probably very deep purple) over opaque white on black glass; cast in three layers, cut, engraved, and polished. Ringstone: oval truncated conoid, with thin black layer over thinner white layer on thicker black layer. Upper surface decorated in intaglio with head of female seen in profile facing right. She has elaborate coiffure, with laurel wreath and hair at back of head gathered in net, except for ringlet at side of neck.
