Physical DescriptionTransparent amber, pale yellow, green, cobalt non-lead glass and colorless glass rods, engraved black and white flashed on colorless glasses, multi-colored translucent and colorless glass rods, colorless shaft glass, strips of black lace, painted hardwood box, electrical lighting; layers of colorless glass sandwiching sheets of engraved flashed glass, lace and rods; assembled within non-removable wooden frame, no space between layers, no adhesive. Large deep vertical rectangular wooden box with molding and wide inset border, painted dark gray; bands of lace and layer of vertical rods create abstract vertical and diagonal bar pattern; pair of painted metal handles screwed to opposite sides of box, hanging device on back; small holes drilled in back of frame for ventilation; attached brass plaque on lower front of box, inscribed: "FREDRICA H.
