Physical DescriptionSnuff Bottle with Stopper and Stand. Opaque light green non-lead glass, orange carnelian, black plastic, cork, wood; blown, carved. (a) Ovoid form; short, waisted neck with flat rim and circular opening for a stopper; the lower two-thirds of the side with carved, raised, vertical ribs. (b) Domed orange (carnelian) cap, mounted on a thin black (plastic) disk, cork stopper, and slender spoon with pointed oval spatulate bowl. (c) Oval wood stand, with concave top, molded sides, and four out-curved tiny feet; paper label on the bottom, inscribed in ink "571" and in pencil "97"; a Chinese character inscribed in light yellow the depression in the top.Provenance
