Physical DescriptionConical Cup. Almost colorless, with green tint; very few bubbles. Blown and cut. Cup: conical. Rim slightly everted, with flat top finished by grinding; wall straight, tapering, and curving in at bottom; base plain, with very small kick. Wall and edge of base decorated by cutting. Wall has three continuous horizontal bands of ornament: (from top to bottom) (1) row of 21 contiguous subrectangular facets (L. 1.4 cm, H. 0.8 cm); (2) with continuous horizontal groove above and below, six large subcircular facets (L. 2.4 cm, H. 2.2 cm) alternating with six ladder-like motifs, each with six or seven horizontal cuts between two vertical cuts; and (3) six smaller subcircular facets (L. 1.8 cm, H. 2.0 cm), each surrounded at top and sides by parabolic cut, with long vertical cut between each pair of parabolas and short horizontal cut at bottom of each pair of parabolas. Edge of base has band of continguous subrectangular facets.
