Physical DescriptionPale transparent greenish non-lead glass; molten glass poured over a steel pipe, manipulated, assembled with wisk and mounted on a piece of cut stone. Thin, flat, square sheet of polished mottled gray slate; a large, rounded blob of glass attached on the center, with a long, rounded section drawn up and wrapping loosely around a bundle of natural brownish plant fibers (wisk), tied in a cylindrical bundle; the glass attached to the slate with a metal pin, cemented in place; two metal pins cemented to the back, with a loop of wire for hanging.Provenance
